| Upon notification
that your application for employment has been approved follow the instructions listed
below.
All drivers must come to our Troy, Alabama
terminal to be qualified to drive for us.
Your orientation and hiring process will
take two days to complete. This begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. each day, Monday through
Thursday at the truck lines Safety Office. Be ON TIME!
We have a drivers lounge at this
terminal that has bunk rooms, showers and sandwich, snack & drink machines. You will
need to bring your own linens and bath items. (The bunks are the same size as the truck
sleeper mattresses.) While your are here for orientation we will provide noon and supper
meals for both days.
Come prepared and with enough clothes and
personal items for two weeks on the road. (That is the approximate length of time that you
will be out before you get back home.)
Upon arrival at the terminal check in at
the gate. If you get there at night go to the drivers lounge and settle in. At 8:00
a.m. the next morning come to the Safety Office and see a recruiter. You MUST talk with
one of the recruiters before beginning any part of your orientation process. When arriving
by bus call 566-5184 from 7:00 a.m. till midnight or 566-1563 from midnight till 7:00 a.m.
and someone will come to pick you up.
No family or friends will be allowed to
accompany you on the yard while you are in orientation. Ample parking is available near
the guard gate. No private vehicles will be allowed on the yard.
Directions to the Troy
Terminal:
If coming south from Montgomery, AL on US 231, after
crossing the railroad tracks turn on Sanders Road. If coming north from Dothan, AL on US
231 turn left just before the railroad tracks. If coming east from Greenville, AL on AL 10
turn right on US 231, cross the railroad tracks and turn right.
